There sure is a lot of hate all around lately. It makes me feel afraid. How do you feel these days? Angry, stressed, afraid or all of the above?
I have been spending a lot less time on Facebook in recent days and more time in the Bible. I find that the more I realize my need for a savior the more I find one. THE one. Oh my goodness how we all need Him.
Please join me in the search for assurance. Here are some great scriptures to help us find our way to Him.
He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
Isaiah 41: 9-10 NIV
I took you from the ends of the earth,
from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, ‘You are my servant’;
I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
God chose us, he does not reject us and he will help us. He will hold us up.
That is good news. I don’t know who reads these words I share but friends know that I am praying for you. See you tomorrow.
